Attorney at law at the Supreme Court, Ph. D., Assistant Professor at Criminal Law and Criminal Policy, practicing law since June 1996.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
– In October 1994 I became a partner at the law office “Evangelos Chloupis & parnters’’, initially as a trainee lawyer and afterwards from June 1996 till the end of 2000 as a lawyer practicing on the general science of law, emphasing on merchant, penal, civil, marine and marine-elaborative law.
– In 2001, I set up my own law office, “Georgios D. Chloupis & partners, law office” located in Moschato-Αthens, collaborating with a team of efficient, highly qualified partners, practicing on the general science of law.
– Since 2005 I have been cooperating with the National Bank of Greece as a legal advisor in the field of housing credit.
– In August 2007 I was appointed legal advisor of IKA (Social Security Institute), at its branch office of I.K.A. E.T.A.M. (Piraeus).
-Since April 2014 I have been cooperating with the Orthodox Church of Greece, as a legal advisor in penal cases.

I participated as the head of an interdisciplinary team in order to understand the techniques and human factors that determine criminal behavior in cyberspace and especially with regard to young people and to the program: LESSEN DATA ACCESS AND GOVERNANCE OBSTACLES – LAGO.

– Voluntary legal advisory service to the EPANODOS NPID.- Vice President with a three-year term in EPANODO NPID (Government Gazette YODD 194 / 17-2-2020, pp. 855, 856). EPANODOS is a Legal Entity under Private Law, of a non-profit nature, supervised by the Ministry of Citizen Protection. The purpose is the professional support and the preparation and promotion of the general social reintegration of prisoners and detainees. The president is Christina Zarafonitou, Professor of Criminology at Panteion University.- Member of the Senate of the European University of Cyprus for the period 2020 – 2022. and to a number of University committees.- As a member of the Board of KEMEA and vice-president of EPANODOS, during my term of office respective MoUs were signed with the European University of Cyprus (EUC) on 31-3-2023 and 6-4-2023 respectively.
